Four new cast members have joined helmer Bruce Beresford‘s new film Peace, Love, & Misunderstanding. Jeffrey Dean Morgan (Watchmen, “Grey’s Anatomy”) and Nat Wolff (“The Naked Brothers Band“) will star alongside Academy Award winner Jane Fonda and Academy Award nominee Catherine Keener in the BCDF Pictures production. In addition, Broadway actress Marissa O’Donnell and Elizabeth Olsen will make their big screen debuts. Olsen will play Keener’s daughter and the love interest of recently announced cast member Chace Crawford (“Gossip Girl”).

A portrait of an unconventional family, Peace, Love, & Misunderstanding tells the story of Diane (Keener), a conservative New York City lawyer who is in desperate need of an escape after her husband asks for a divorce. Along with her two children (Olsen and Wolff), she takes refuge at her estranged hippie mother Grace’s (Fonda) farmhouse, where she is exposed to a motley crew of free thinkers. What was meant to be a stress-free getaway quickly turns into a reminder of why Diane escaped her mother’s hippie lifestyle in the first place, but the reunion forcers her, her children, and Grace to search for peace with each other and with themselves.

Peace, Love, & Misunderstanding is set to film in New York’s Hudson Valley and is being produced by BCDF Pictures’ Claude Dal Farra, Brice Dal Farra, Lauren Munsch, and Jonathan Burkhart.
