Jeffrey Dean Morgan was honored as one of People’s Sexiest Men Alive for 2007.

The day before he got his role on Supernatural, Morgan’s former manager (and good friend) dropped him because he wasn’t getting enough work, claiming she couldn’t resurrect his career.

Morgan revisited his artistic talent by creating and donating a painting to the ‘Race for the Rescues’ “Walk of Paws Celebrity Art Auction,” on October 29, 2006. The money raised at the event went to help shelter dogs and cats in and around Pasadena, CA.

Morgan learned to play the guitar for his part in P.S. I Love You, after only a week of lessons from Heart’s Nancy Wilson.

Morgan has been romantically linked with Weeds co-star Mary-Louise Parker, who has stated that the relationship is “going great!” The two, who first began dating in 2006 broke up, then re-kindled their romance, becoming engaged in February 2008. Unfortunately, the engagement was short-lived as they announced they had broken their engagement in April 2008.

In the three shows that Jeffrey Dean Morgan was active in simultaneously (Grey’s Anatomy, Supernatural, and Weeds), all three of his characters died.

Morgan grew up in the suburbs of Seattle, which also happens to be the same city that his alter-ego Denny Duquette of Grey’s Anatomy lived in.

Jeffrey Dean Morgan was born on April 22,1966 to father Richard Dean and mother Sandy Thomas.

In 2006, Jeffrey was number 7 on TV Guide’s 50 Sexiest Men list.

Jeffrey guest-starred with Loretta Devine on two different hit shows, Supernatural as Missouri Moseley and in Grey’s Anatomy as Adele Webber

Jeffrey also won the Tater Top award for “Biggest Tearjerker” for his death scene on Grey’s Anatomy.

In 2006, Jeffrey won the Tater Top award for “Best Guest Star” for his roles on Supernatural and Grey’s Anatomy.

He is sometimes credited as Jeffrey D. Morgan.

He has appeared in the theatrical productions of both Grease and West Side Story.

In 2005 and 2006 he was on three hit shows at the same time on three different networks.

In his free time he enjoys spending time with his friends and laughing as much as possible, painting, writing and reading.

Jeffrey is 6’1.

Jeffrey went to Ben Franklin Elementary School and Rose Hill Junior High. He graduated from Lake Washington High school in 1984.
